The wait for the <strong>downhill<\/strong> race on the <strong>Stelvio<\/strong> on <strong>Saturday, December 28 <\/strong>is almost over, and in<strong> Bormio<\/strong> &#8216;s<strong> Piazza Cavour<\/strong> last night the large crowd of fans accompanied the public drawing of bibs for the top ten athletes in the <strong>FIS<\/strong> rankings. <\/p>\n<p>Also among them are the two most anticipated Italians, <strong>Mattia Casse <\/strong>and <strong>Dominik Paris<\/strong>: the Piedmontese, fresh from his Super-G success in Val Gardena, will launch with bib #13, ahead of the seven-time Stelvio master who drew bib #14.<\/p>\n<p>The compulsory favorite, Switzerland&#8217;s<strong> Marco Odermatt<\/strong>, will be in action just after Casse and Paris with bib #15 and just ahead of the other Italian <strong>Florian Schieder<\/strong>, starting with bib #16. Also worth keeping an eye on are Austria&#8217;s <strong>Vincent Kriechmayr<\/strong> (#11) and Canadians<strong> Cameron Alexander<\/strong> and <strong>James Crawford<\/strong>, who will start with bibs 6 and 12, respectively. <\/p>\n<p>The start of the downhill race is scheduled for <strong>11:30 a.m.<\/strong> The event will be<strong> televised live <\/strong>in Italy on <strong>Rai2
