The Valtellina track is located at 1800 meters above sea level, surrounded by lush forests and wide plains. The trail offers 5- and 10-kilometer loops with elevation changes between 190 and 390 meters, featuring climbs, descents and technical sections, ideal for experienced cross-country skiers thanks in part to a particularly challenging descent.
For those who prefer easier trails, the “La Fonte” tourist circuit offers 2, 3 and 5 km trails, perfect for beginners and non-professional enthusiasts.
At the entrance to the Valtellina track is the SANTA CATERINA FOUNDATION CENTER, which includes:
- HIRE La Fonte: a wide selection of skis and boots for all ages and abilities, ski maintenance service, and the home of the Cross Country Ski School.
- TRESERO HALL: A cozy environment with heated locker rooms, safety lockers and free public restrooms.

For admission to the track required to pick up the daily pass or card ( weekly and season) at the cashiers of the Cross Country Track
For the issuance of the season pass, please hand in a passport photo to the cashier at the Fondo Racetrack
When making the reservation and payment, it is necessary to indicate the dates of entry for both daily and weekly
If you do not use the ticket on the day/week indicated at the time of ‘online purchase you must contact by phone the Office Proloco Valfurva on 0342 935544
The ticket is NOT refundable. However, the ticket can be used, upon verification with Proloco Valfurva, for later date by the end of the ski season.
